September 3- 11th Annual Channel 3 Kids Camp Celebrity Golf Tournament taking place at Gillette Ridge Golf Club in Bloomfield, 7:30am and 12:30pm Scramble on a prestigious course, gourmet lunch either after or prior to play, social hour, grilled steak & chicken dinner, entertainment with Channel 3's Scot Haney and others, live auction and award ceremony. Come out for a great day of golf, prizes, contests, food, celebrities, and a live auction. All players receive fantastic gift prior to play. Sponsorships and playing spots available. September 14- Loctite Auto Show and Kids Fair at the Henkel Corporation 10am-3pm at 1001 Trout Brook Crossing in Rocky Hill right next door to the brand new WFSB Studios in Rocky Hill. Come show off your Hotrods, vintage cars and classic cars, or just your new car that you like. First 150 cars will get a Loctite gift bag. Trophies will be awarded. The event will have Live music by the local band "Rush Hour", a raffle for great prizes, food vendors, carnival games, balloons, bounce inflatables, face painting, kids tattoo booth, art projects and more. Entrance fee is $5 per car for exhibitors and spectators.

Saturday September 20, 2008 'Shop for a Cause' at Macy's Department Stores Nationwide. Please join the Channel 3 Kids Camp and Macy's stores across the nation for the 3rd Annual 'Shop for a Cause.' This one-day-only shopping event was created by Macy's to support local non-profit organizations like the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Through purchasing special shopping passes guests have the opportunity to participate in a unique shopping experience including discounts, entertainment, special events, and the opportunity to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

2nd Annual Breakfast with Santa - Saturday December 6, 2008 at the Channel 3 Kids Camp. This festive family day welcomes the community to join Channel 3 Kids Camp for a large breakfast spread of warm homemade pancakes, home fries, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Seating times for breakfast are 8:00am, 9:30am, or 11:30.

After breakfast children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa, share their holiday hopes and pose for a picture. Holiday centered art & craft projects, live holiday music, and Christmas surprises will also fill the day. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended as seating is limited. December 15th - 5th Annual Joy For The Kids Concert with Scot Haney and Friends, 7:30 p.m - Hartford Stage, 50 Church Street in Hartford. Entertaining, Funny and Delightful Holiday music concert with Scot, fellow Channel 3 on-air personalities, the Farmington Valley Orchestra, the Praises of Zion Choir, state celebrities, and special guests! The show features live music, storytelling, and comedy with a chance to meet the cast following their performance. Tickets available only at the Hartford Stage Box office, on sale in October. All proceeds benefit the camp. Always a sell-out so get your tickets early! You must listen to Scot Haney in the mornings on Channel 3 for the announcement of when they will go on sale.
