On Sunday, July 12, 2009 the Channel 3 Kids Camp Benefit Ride will travel scenic roads of Connecticut with Trantolo & Trantolo, raising money and awareness for our 350 acre camp and victims of domestic abuse. For only $25 per bike or couple, supporters will look forward to a before & after party featuring live music, food, entertainment, raffles containing great gifts, and cruising with Grand Marshal Kevin Hogan of WFSB Channel 3. Also joining the ride for kids is Teresa LaBarbera, Heather Hegedus, Hena Daniels and Hallie Jackson of Channel 3!

12th Annual Channel 3 Kids Camp Celebrity Golf Tournament - September 2, 2009

Tee off on one of Connecticut's top 10 golf courses in a morning of afternoon scramble play format! 18-holes of golf & carts, BBQ luncheon, awards dinner with open bar, celebrity auction and raffles make for a great day on the course. Channel 3 personalities, sport celebrities and special guests entertain and greet on selected holes throughout the day. Loctite Auto Show & Shine - September 2009

The 3rd Annual Loctite Auto Show & Shine welcomes car lovers of all makes and models to exhibit their vehicles in September 2009. Loctite, a Henkel Corporation subsidiary, will host the car show, donating all proceeds to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Come show off your Hotrods, vintage cars and classic cars, or just your new car that you like. First 150 cars will get a Loctite gift bag and trophies will be awarded for select winners. The event features live music, a raffle for great prizes, food vendors, kids activities and more. Entrance fee is $5 per car for exhibitors and spectators. 5th Annual Joy For The Kids Concert with Scot Haney and Friends | Monday - December 7, 2009

The annual holiday show is hosted by WFSB Channel 3's Scot Haney and performs to a sold out crowd each year. The program includes music, storytelling, dancing, and lots of comedy from Scot Haney and nearly all of Channel 3 personalities. Special guests join the stage each year including Farmington Valley Symphony with appearances from the Praises of Zion Choir, local dance companies, state leaders, and entertainers who deliver holiday favorites. Tickets are available at the Hartford Stage box office, on sale in October. You must watch Scot Haney in the mornings on Channel 3 for the sale announcement!

These fundraisers and events are to raise money and awareness for the Channel 3 Kids Camp in Andover/Coventry that provides educational, fun filled experiences for more than 4,000 children 6-16 years of age. The Channel 3 Kids Camp is owned and operated by Almada Lodge-Times Farm Camp Corp. and is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization.
